Why it works: This pizzeria managed to get a lot of info in 140 characters. Advertising two promotions with one marketing effort gets you more bang for your buck. In this instance, one tweet, two promotions at zero cost is a win-win in our book.

New York Pizza & Bar NYP has a very family friendly restaurant side to it as well as the bar. And, kids always get FREE gelato with their kids meals!
Why it works: This Facebook post was accompanied by a copy of the restaurant’s kids’ menu, complete with activities. Not only does it give parents an idea what to expect, but the post also alerts them to free dessert for the kiddos –– an added bonus when choosing a place for dinner.
Stella Rossa Pizza Bar Fresh from the SanMo Farmers Market, our Butternut Squash Pizza, baked to perfection with candied bacon and Taleggio cheese is legit. This seasonal pie is the perfect mix of salty and sweet, so try it while you can.
Why it works: Letting your guests know you have seasonal offerings is great –– but telling them from where you source your ingredients is even better. Stella Rossa also emphasized that this pizza has a short menu shelf life and encouraged folks to consider it over their usual order. Brilliant!
