California Pizza Kitchen launches new menu options

Los Angeles-based California Pizza Kitchen has added seven new items to its menu: Tuscan White Bean Minestrone, Steak Tacos, Baja Fish Tacos, a Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich, an Albacore Tuna Salad sandich, a Chicken Club and White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake.

Additionally, the company has added more multigrain items with a new Honey-Wheat with Whole Grain pizza crust and a multigrain penne pasta.

Papa John's giving away Wii prize package

 

Papa John's and Nintendo have partnered to give away 300 Wii Sports Resort prize packages this month. Customers visiting the Papa John's Web site can enter for a chance to win one of the prizes through November 29. The prize package consists of a Wii system, Wii Sports Resort video game, a Wii remote controller, a Wii nunchuck controller and a Wii MotionPlus accessory. The approximate value of the prize package is $330.

"Family game night is more fun when Papa's in the house with Wii Sports Resort," says Papa John's chief marketing officer Andrew Varga. "Wii is at the top of holiday wish lists, which is why Papa John's is especially excited to partner with Nintendo this month." 

 Domino's named one of Detroit's top employers

Domino's Pizza was recently chosen as one of metro Detroit's "101 Best & Brightest Companies" to work for. The designation was given by the Michigan Business and Professional Association and is meant to honor companies that demonstrate exceptional human resources and employee relations practices. This is the fourth consecutive year that Domino's was named to the list.

CiCi's giving away airline tickets this holiday season

Now through December 31, customers at CiCi's Pizza buffets nationwide have a chance to win one of 15 free roundtrip airline tickets. Guests who purchase CiCi's Pizza gift cards will also receive scratch-and-win game cards. While the airline tickets are the grand prize, other prizes, such as free food and drinks, will be available to select winners. Overall, there is a one-in-two chance of winning a prize.

"Gift certificates have proven to be a very convenient gift, but at CiCi's we wanted it to be fun for the person who gives them, too," says the company's chief marketing officer, Tom Koenigsberg. "With this promotion, we're increasing the WOW factor by making holiday shopping a win/win for recipients and the gift givers. Hopefully we will be able to bring some lucky families together during the holidays when they may not have had the ability to do so before, especially in these trying times."

Pizza Patron to continue serving customers at Dallas arena

Pizza Patron recently announced that it has extended its contract with the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The arena is home to the Dallas Stars hockey team as well as the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. Pizza Patron has been serving American Airlines Center customers since 2008. The new extension gives Pizza Patron exclusive rights to serve pizza in the arena through September 2015.
