Every September, Home Slice Pizza in Austin, Texas, partially shuts down for four days so 30 members of its staff can travel to New York City to eat at nearly a dozen pizzerias. According the Austin Chronicle, Home Slice staff has reported that the trip is informative, inspirational and fun.
