A performance kitchen is nothing new to many independent pizzerias. Tossing dough and handcrafting pizza in front of a jaw-dropped audience of eager patrons is what the open-concept pizzerias thrive on. Domino’s Pizza is introducing a concept built around its open kitchen in Austin, Texas. The pizza company is calling it Pizza Theater. For more on Domino’s Pizza Theater, CLICK HERE.
Domino’s is not alone. Other major chains have also introduced similar concepts. Papa Murphy’s, known for its take-n-bake style, rolled out a prototype store called Create, applying a contemporary design to take-n-bake. Where Papa Murphy’s dough-making process is done behind the scenes, Create’s new open kitchen is its centerpiece. To read more about Papa Murphy’s new concept, CLICK HERE.
