A Salem, Oregon man found 98 job applications in a dumpster behind a local Little Caesars store, according to KOIN.com.
His wife, who has been a victim of identity theft, contacted the local media concerned that the applications included personal information like social security numbers and dates of birth, otherwise may have fallen into the wrong hands.
According to KOIN, Little Caesars Pizza’s corporate headquarters issued a statement that an investigation into the matter is underway and that standard practice is to shred such documents.
