Gourmet pizza brand develops new thin crust pizzas
for maximum delivery of flavor

 

DALLAS (May 2014)—After many months of pizza research and development, Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), a casual-plus dining concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and separate sports bar under one roof, has recently announced its latest advancement in pizza “technology”.  Already well-known for its high-quality, handcrafted gourmet pizzas, Boston’s is launching its first-ever line of thin crust pizzas on June 2, 2014.

From the beginning, Boston’s hand-pressed, made-from-scratch dough, paired with its selective combination of the finest meats, cheeses, and freshest vegetables, have made the brand’s pizzas nearly irresistible. Through August 2, Boston’s will now be offering its guests the same high-quality ingredients, but layered over a 28 percent thinner layer of crust. Guests will have the choice of the following four versions:

  • Pepperoni & Feta Thin Crust Pizza – Feta cheese is the perfect enhancement to the pepperoni pizza we all know & love.
  • Caprese Thin Crust Pizza – A caprese salad turned into a pizza. Tomatoes, sliced mozzarella cheese, garlic, and freshly shredded Parmesan topped with balsamic glaze and fresh basil.
  • Prosciutto & Arugula Thin Crust Pizza – A mix of manchego and freshly shredded Parmesan cheese with prosciutto, baked then topped with arugula salad.
  • Chicken Peppadew Thin Crust Pizza – Grilled chicken diced, melted manchego cheese, peppadew peppers, and green onions atop lemon butter and garlic, spiced up with crushed red pepper.

This new line of pizzas is part of Boston’s overall campaign that plays off the recent surge in new, thinner technology advances. As electronics get thinner and thinner, Boston’s new pizzas are following suit. The line of thin crust pizzas have a flavor to weight ratio that’s unbeatable and the base is designed to be amazingly thin, yet strong enough to hold the high-quality toppings. The thin crust pizzas are made with Boston’s original, made-from-scratch dough that is rolled out then pressed thin and cut into either delicious slices.

These thin crust pizzas are crafted with the same taste and quality you know and love, but have been engineered thinner for maximum delivery of flavor.”

In addition to the new menu items, in the weeks leading up to Father’s Day, Boston’s is supporting individual innovation by helping to fund a Kickstarter project. Kickstarter is a website designed to fund creative projects from individuals around the world by allowing people to pledge money to launch the ideas. From June 2-15, guests can visit Boston’s to get the “secret code” to text and enter to win a Big Green Egg Grill, the perfect gift for Father’s Day. Boston’s will donate $1 per text to help fund a culinary/chef inspired project on KickStarter.com.
