September 09, 2013 (Fuquay-Varina, NC) – Southbend recently introduced the new G-Series Oven to their line of outstanding equipment. The G-Series technology offers top of the line performance and consistency that customers have been looking for.
Southbend convection ovens feature newly designed doors and control panel. The two stage door sealing system with integrated door stop eliminates seal bending and damage. The doors also feature a thermal isolated door handle that is heat resistant and cooler to the touch. The interior lights and larger panels offer better product viewing. The windows feature a fully insulated flat panel glass system that is grease vapor resistant which eliminates debris build up between the panels. The control panel is water resistant with a new heavy duty drawer mount that slides out for improved serviceability.
The Southbend G-Series burner has a single large opening where the air and gas mix, insuring a consistent burn and eliminates the possibility of clogging. Soft heat mixing zone technology allows hot air to be mixed with cooler air from the baking chamber to produce tempered air for even baking and cooking. The stainless steel oven provides 90,000 BTU per deck available in single or double deck, standard or bakery depth, available in either gas or electric.
