Pizza Hut manager arrested for spitting on cop’s pizza

By Pizza Today

A Tennessee Pizza Hut manager was arrested for spitting on a pizza that was ordered by a sheriff’s deputy. The officer witnessed the manager remove the pizza he had ordered, began to cut it, recognized the deputy and then spit on the pizza according to the deputy’s report.

The incident was an alleged retaliation for the officer citing the manager with a DUI charge several months prior, according CBS Charlotte.

Last fall, a fast food worker was sentenced to up to two years in prison. The worker tested positive for hepatitis C and his saliva was considered a harmful object. In 2006, another fast food worker received a six-month sentence for spitting in a customer’s ice tea.
