Russian pizzeria rolls out drone delivery

DoDo Pizza in Syktyvkarsk, Russia has introduced “DodoCopter,” its helicopter-drone pizza delivery service. Customers go through the normal methods of ordering, according to TheWeek.com. When the drone arrives at the customer’s house, a pizzeria employee calls the customer instructing them to go outside and wait for their pizza to be lowered via cable to them.

 

Last year, a Domino’s Pizza in the UK conducted test flights of an unmanned pizza delivery drone. Will the pizza delivery drone make its way to the U.S.?
