Pizza Today has again been awarded a number of editorial and design awards from Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI). The 11th annual TABBIE awards recognize excellence in business-to-business publications from around the globe. This year netted entries from more than 450 print and online companies. Pizza Today was only a handful of publications to win five-plus awards, including:
GOLD – Man on the Street by Scott Wiener
Honorable Mention – “Healthcare101” by Daniel P. Smith
Opening Page or Spread
Honorable Mention – “Up in Smoke” // design by Josh Keown
“Congratulations Pizza Today editorial team,” says Pete Lachapelle, publisher of Pizza Today. “For the fifth year in a row, Pizza Today has dominated the food service category of trade publications.
“Award-winning editorial is what sets Pizza Today apart from all other pizza-related and foodservice trade publications. It’s enabled the magazine to gain an outstanding average of over 55 minutes of reading time per issue!
“Easier to read, more useful, more accurate and a higher level of integrity …these are the reasons we’ve won these awards …and can claim to the ‘Best Read Pizzeria Magazine in the World.’ There isn’t another foodservice magazine in the world that can lay claim to the same!”
