LOS ANGELES (June 18, 2015) – PizzaRev fans can now order their favorite custom, personal pizza delivered to their door. The award-winning fast-casual pizza concept recently launched the delivery of online and mobile orders through Postmates, a leading on-demand delivery service. The partnership ensures PizzaRev customers a flat $4.99 delivery fee, and the service is currently available for seven PizzaRev restaurants in the greater Los Angeles market.
“The PizzaRev business model is centered on an interactive pizza building experience that takes place within our restaurants. Our guests enjoy seeing the entire pizza assembly and cooking process, but we’ve also seen an increase in demand for a delivery option,” said Nicholas Eckerman, co-founder and COO of PizzaRev. “We chose to launch a formal delivery option through Postmates because of the company’s solid reputation in the restaurant industry, easy-to-use mobile platform and commitment to expand their services to new cities every day.”
When customers use the Postmates app to order from PizzaRev, they can choose to craft a custom personal pizza with unlimited toppings, for one price, or select from a list of pre-set ‘Our Way’ pizzas. Popular choices include the Margherita, BBQ Chicken, Revved Up Meat & Peppers and Fennel & Sausage.
Postmates boasts the largest on-demand delivery fleet in the country, and PizzaRev will continue to expand the delivery service as both companies enter new markets. Postmates is currently taking orders to be delivered from the following PizzaRev locations:
- Burbank, CA -175 E Palm Ave.
- El Segundo – 460 N. Sepulveda Blvd.
- Koreatown – 3150 Wilshire Blvd.
- Midtown – 4550 W Pico Blvd.
- Santa Ana – 3605 S. Bristol St.
- Studio City – 12103 Ventura Blvd.
- Van Nuys – 5608 Van Nuys Blvd.
“We are thrilled to be PizzaRev’s first official delivery partner,” said Anand Dass, Business Development, Postmates. “With the Postmates Preferred Merchant Program, which PizzaRev is a part of, our goal is to partner with great fast casual brands so that we can offer customers a superior product, quickly, at a flat delivery fee. We are excited to deploy our mobile platform and delivery infrastructure to support PizzaRev and help them create an incremental revenue channel for the franchise.”
The launch of a reliable delivery option aligns with PizzaRev’s greater mission to provide a speedy yet more healthful pizza experience to its customers. PizzaRev has earned a loyal following among Southern California fans that continues to spread across the country as the brand enters new markets. Named one of the “10 Brands to Watch” by CNBC and #15 in the 2015 FastCasual.com “Top 100 Movers and Shakers,” PizzaRev has captured the attention and affection of investors and consumers alike.
PizzaRev is an award winning fast-casual pizza concept that has reinvented the way America eats its favorite food. Guests are empowered to fully customize a personal-sized 11″ pizza for one price. Homemade dough options, flavorful sauces, all-natural cheeses, and more than 30+ artisanal toppings, everything is on display at PizzaRev and assembled right before your eyes. The pizzas are then fired in a 900-degree, stone-hearth oven which produces a thin and crispy Roman-style pizza in just three minutes. Los Angeles-based PizzaRev was founded in 2012; the executive team possesses a combination of Fortune 500 operating experience and high-profile restaurant management.
PizzaRev is currently franchising and announced a strategic partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings in 2013.
