  • Thick slices of fresh mozzarella
  • Thick slices of fresh tomato
  • Fresh basil
  • Coarsely ground pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions Use your imagination to make the most of this simple display. Alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella into a small plate for one serving, or onto a brightly colored or patterned platter for a group of any size.

Sprinkle fresh basil in whole leaves, or chopped, around plate.

Drizzle with olive oil and top off with ground black pepper.

As an option, bring a small bottle or ramekin of balsamic vinegar with the salad for the customer to add if they choose.
