SLICE OF HOPE T SHIRT SALES HAVE ENDED
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Slice of Hope is a charity event designed to raise funding for the fight against breast cancer. Please join us in an effort to focus our collective attention for one day, Friday, October 12, on ending this disease. If America’s pizzerias band together and donate 15, 20 or even 30 percent of their sales from this one day, we’ll be able to make a remarkable contribution to the Karen Mullen Breast Cancer Foundation, which passes nearly 100 percent of its proceeds on to the nation’s leading breast cancer research labs.

Members of the Pizza Today staff are going to cycle throughout the state of Florida October 8-12 to bring attention to the Slice of Hope cause. To show their support, several community-minded pizza companies have already pledged donations.

SLICE OF HOPE DONATIONS:

The donations are tax deductible. The Foundation will send a tax form to those making donations.

“We had a GREAT night despite a power outage for about an hour, we managed to raise over $500.00 towards this deadly disease! I hope we made a difference in helping to fight this disease through our participation in Slice of Hope.

The servers worked very hard to help raise the money for this event; we even had a few of our customers make personal donations & on top of it all we all had FUN doing it for the Foundation & Pizza Today!”

“Friday was such a great success for Slice of Hope here at my restaurant.  We had been advertising for roughly 3 weeks and the turn out that our community showed was tremendous! On behalf of my employees and myself, I want to say thank you to Jeremy White for coming up with this wonderful idea.  We had a great time and our community here in Clare, MI showed how supportive they are by making Slice of Hope a success. Once again, thank you and we look forward to doing this again next year!”

Sincerely,

Shari Buccilli, Owner

“One of our former employees, Marie, was diagnosed with breast cancer several months ago. We gave part of our earnings on Oct. 7, 2011 to her for medical bills. She and her family helped wait tables that night and also raised funds in a tip jar.

Marie wore her headscarf as she has lost her hair due to chemo, but she and her family maintain a strong dignity as they fight against her cancer. Marie was right there, working alongside everyone else.

So, we raised funds for the Karen Mullen Breast Cancer Foundation as well as Marie. Thanks to Slice of Hope for bringing awareness to this dreaded disease. Hopefully with help like yours from Pizza Today a cure can be found for breast cancer.”

Thanks,

Tony Mellencamp

"Just wanted to pass along our thanks for sponsoring this event.  We here at LaPizzeria Restaurant in Huntsville Ohio are happy to say that we were able to raise approximately $1,000.00 for the Karen Mullen Breast Cancer Foundation. My lead waitress, who is also my sister, is a breast cancer survivor of 2 years."

Thank you again,

Randy Henson and the Crew
