You’re invited to the largest anniversary party our industry has ever seen. You may not have heard, but International Pizza Expo turns 30 next month. That’s right — 30! For three decades the Expo has been the world’s largest and most important event of its kind. When it comes to a tradeshow by pizza people and for pizza people, there truly is nothing that can rival it.
Some people go to International Pizza Expo to compete. They think they have the best pizza on the planet and they want to prove it by going head to head against their peers in a bake-off. Others go because they want — or need — information. The number and quality of the educational seminars have grown by leaps and bounds over the years, and they’re usually packed. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had a teary-eyed operator stop me on the show floor to thank me and tell me that International Pizza Expo and/or Pizza Today literally saved their business from going under.
Others go because they need new equipment or better ingredients and they know the show floor is the only place where they can compare the industry’s best options side by side.
Then there are those who hit International Pizza Expo annually for the camaraderie. Once a year they get to escape the madness of their shops and hang out all day and night with like-minded business owners and pizza people in one of the world’s most exciting cities.
What’s not to love about the Expo? No matter the reason you take part in the event, you can’t go wrong by booking your trip today. Especially this year. As the show turns 30, we want to celebrate with 10,000 of our closest pizza friends. Your invitation is in the mail. It’s going to be the biggest and best pizza party you’ve ever seen. All the cool kids will be there. Don’t miss it.
Lastly, do me a favor if you can. Take a quick moment to send me an e-mail (address below) and tell me your favorite thing about International Pizza Expo. What keeps you going back? What’s the one event each year at the show you feel like you can’t miss?
See you in Vegas next month!
