Today, portion control is more important than ever. With the rising cost of nearly every commodity and ingredient –– right down to gasoline for delivery vehicles and what used to be the cheapest vegetable toppings –– watching your weight is more important than ever.

You’ve heard industry experts speak on the topic of portion control at Pizza Expo nearly every year. You know it’s important –– but do your employees? if they are free-handing your toppings, they could be doing your product a disservice. Not weighing ingredients sometimes creates an inconsistent product, especially when an employee isn’t trained properly to know how to much to use.
