Burke taps Chris Reyes to be Customer Service Supervisor

NEVADA, Iowa –– Chris Reyes has been named Customer Service Supervisor by Burke Corporation, leader in fully cooked meat products and pizza toppings. Reyes is currently the company’s Technical Services Export Coordinator. He replaces Deanna Smith, who will be Marketing Manager for the company.

As Customer Service Supervisor, Reyes will be managing the entire customer service function, a primary focus of Burke. His duties will include monitoring follow-up with customers, training employees to communicate effectively with customers and working closely with Quality Assurance and Production.

“We value our customers and our relationships with them,” said David Weber, President. “Chris will continue Burke’s overriding dedication to making our customers happy.” He will report to Doug Cooprider, Vice President Sales and Marketing— Burke.

Reyes studied psychology and architecture at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, and majored in Mass Communications and Journalism at Seward County Community College, Liberal, Kansas.

Reyes brings banking, automotive and USDA food safety experience to this position. He has been with Burke for three years, most recently coordinating technical services while helping support Burke’s quality assurance, shipping and production teams, among others, and working with people in and outside of the corporation.
