We’re coming and here’s why

Coal-fired New York. Brick-oven Boston. Clam-capital New Haven. Tomato-pie Philadelphia — nearly every city and town between Portland, Maine, and the Potomac River features proud independent pizzerias and Italian pasta houses. Some are long-established and serve old family recipes. Others offer creative twists for new generations of diners. All are owned and operated by multi-talented entrepreneurs competing for a bigger slice of the restaurant business.

Italian restaurants and pizzerias in the 12 Northeastern states generate more revenue than any other 12 U.S. states combined. Our research shows that there are 28,000 Italian- and pizza-concept restaurants in the region with annual sales exceeding $18 billion.

Pizza Expo saw those numbers and realized the Italian pasta and pizzeria operators in this region have extensive buying power and a hunger for success in the industry. Our message to Northeast operators: You need your own trade show!

And now you have it. On Oct. 17 – 18, 2017, Pizza Expo will host Pizza & Pasta Northeast at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

The two-day event will give the region’s Italian restaurant segment an opportunity to come together and see new products, find new suppliers, meet vendors and network with fellow operators. Many suppliers will offer discounts on products and services. The show also will feature a pizza-making competition and a best pasta bake-off, as well as keynotes from industry luminaries and workshops to help you improve operations and increase profits.

Put the October 2017 dates on your calendar and watch for further details on the event Web site pizzaandpastaexpo.com.

We’re coming to the Northeast, and you’ll want to be there!

For Pizza

You’ll find the biggest, best and most specialized providers of products and ingredients for a pizzeria on the Exhibit Hall floor. It’s the ideal place to shop for items to improve your restaurant and your brand.

See how the experts prep and bake their pizzas. We’ll showcase multiple styles of pizza from master pizzaioli, and teach you how to add versatility to your menu and win more customers.

The Caputo Cup, which since 2015 has crowned winners in Neapolitan and New York-style pizza at annual competitions in New York City, will be held in 2017 exclusively at our event. Competitors from throughout the U.S. bake off in front of a panel of judges — and you’ll be able to see how some of the best in the business prepare their pizzas.

We’ve developed a team of thought leaders from the restaurant industry willing to share best practices and tools that have made their businesses models of success. You can sit in and learn new marketing, profit-building techniques to boost your pizzeria’s bottom line.

For Pasta

Whether you’re expanding into pasta or have a longstanding pasta menu, there will be many new ingredients to consider and equipment to look over as you work to optimize your operations.

Pasta’s amazing versatility will be on display in our Demonstration Area. We’ll bring in renowned chefs from the Northeast to show you popular and profitable dishes and talk about the recipe formation, pricing strategy and preparation tips that make them menu winners.

We’re planning to crown the makers of the best pasta dishes in the Northeast during the event. Attendees can watch competitors prepare their entries and even taste them after they’ve been presented to the judges.

Learn how to better market and operate your restaurant so you can increase sales and draw in new customers. Our keynote speakers and School of Pizzeria Management workshop instructors are industry professionals who know what works and how to implement tactics at the store level.
