The Autumnal Equinox, or what we regular Joes simply refer to as Fall, officially arrived this week. And we brought it in with style in the PT test kitchen, where Managing Editor & Foodstylist Mandy Detwiler spent the day preparing a bevy of Fall menu items. Using recipes supplied by readers and our very own “In the Kitchen” Writer John Gutekanst, Mandy prepared pizzas that tasted like … October.
You know what I’m talking about. Fall brings cooler temps, football, apple cider, bonfires, bright foliage, Halloween — and National Pizza Month. Fall is a great time for most pizzerias as they prepare for a busy season. And there’s no better way to do it than by trying new recipes for your customers.
