John Gutekanst is in the PT test kitchen this week doing what he does best — slinging pies. We’re shooting photos and videos for the 2015 Menu Guide, also known as our forthcoming December issue. This day has been intense, let me tell you. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Creative Director Rick Daugherty and Art Director Josh Keown move so fast. Let’s just say John is a little more well-honed in the kitchen than when we do it ourselves!
So far John has cranked out a sourdough ciabatta as well as pizzas featuring items like salami, burrata, clams, squash and fresh mozz, to name a new. And he’s just getting started.
