TROY, Ohio (March 20, 2017) — Hobart, the premium commercial food equipment manufacturer known for designing and building some of the most reliable, must-have equipment, will give away a custom-painted Legacy® HL662 Pizza Mixer at the 2017 International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas. The event will be held March 27 to 30.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the Hobart Legacy Mixer Sweepstakes. The one-of-a-kind design will be unveiled to show attendees on the first day of the expo. The mixer has an estimated retail value of $20,000. This year’s design focus is “Family Game Night.” Pizza and games have long gone together, making the design a perfect fit for the mixer. The mixer features an interactive game board, complete with magnetic game pieces and a spinner that allows the players to move toward the finish line.
Attendees at the 2017 International Pizza Expo will receive a sweepstakes entry card in their gift bag upon entering the show, which they must submit at the Hobart booth (N963) to be entered to win. They can also pick up and submit an entry card at the booth beginning at 10 a.m. PST on March 28. All completed cards must be submitted by 3 p.m. PST March 29 to be eligible. The drawing will be held at the ICC Main Stage at 12:30 p.m. PST on March 30. A winner will be randomly selected from the entries, and the winner must be present to win.
The durable 60-quart mixer features a 2.7 horsepower motor and heavy-duty variable frequency drive that ensures consistent performance with minimal downtime under heavy loads. Two fixed speeds support thorough kneading, while Shift-on-the-Fly™ technology controls allow the operator to change speeds while the mixer is running. The Hobart-patented Soft Start Agitation Technology helps operators maintain a sanitary work environment — each speed has a soft transition into higher speed to reduce the opportunity for product splash-out.
In a separate sweepstakes that kicks off at 8 a.m. CDT on March 28, Hobart will give away a limited edition, custom-painted FP150 continuous-feed full hopper food processor. To enter, interested parties should visit horbartcorp.com/enter to complete the entry form. Online entries must be received by 5 p.m. CDT on April 14 to be entered into the drawing. Participants must be employed in the food service industry to be eligible to win.
The FP150 has a compact design for ease of use and a smaller footprint. The angled front provides operator convenience and ease of loading. A planetary drive improves performance and reliability, and the large full-size feed hopper supports processing for a wide variety of products and eliminates precutting.
