Big Mama & Papa’s makes biggest heart-shaped pizza

By Denise Greer

Huffington Post teamed up with Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria in Burbank, California, to make the largest heart-shaped pizza in time for Valentine’s Day.

The end result: a pizza that measured 47 inches at it widest point, 37 inches down the center of the heart and 40 inches on the sides. The pizza consists of 14 pounds of dough, 1 and ½ pounds of pizza sauce, 30 ounces of black olives, ½-pound of pepperoni, and 8 pound of cheese. Crunch the numbers on the cost of this pie.

Big Mama’s & Papa’s delivered the enormous heart-shaped pizza Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and donated to its ER team.

A photographer was there to capture the whole event. Check it out at Huffington Post.

Big Mama’s & Papa’s holds the Guinness World Record for the largest commercially available pizza.
