Cashier lucky to be alive after armed robbery

By Pizza Today

An armed robber’s gun jams attempting to shoot an Italian pizzeria cashier. Two men entered the pizza shop. As one assailant goes for the resister, the other fires his handgun at the cashier, but it jammed, according to the New York Daily News.

As the attacker attempted to fix his weapon, other pizzeria workers charge the scene smashing plates over the robbers’ heads, disarming one man. Both culprits fled the scene with $65 and were later captured by the police and charged with attempted murder, robbery and carrying an illegal weapon.

Watch the armed robbery transpire.
