TULSA, OK (Feb. 24, 2017) – Hideaway Pizza will introduce its own radio station at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 3 at all 17 of its restaurants in Oklahoma and Arkansas as part of the kick-off celebration for its 60th anniversary.
Hideaway Pizza Radio will be a digital-format radio station curated by Ferris O’Brien and streamed from The Spy FM studios in downtown Oklahoma City, available online 24-hours a day and at all Hideaway Pizza restaurants.
According to O’Brien, the music will be in constant rotation and consistently refreshed with new and retro music from local, regional and national recording artists representing a diverse range of genres from the 1950s to the present day.
“Hideaway Pizza has a unique history and personality built over the last 60 years, it’s an iconic Oklahoma-based company with an exciting future as it grows into a regional brand. We’re honored to have this opportunity to elevate the quality and consistency of music in their restaurants to match the quality of their pizza and service,” O’Brien said. “This also offers a unique avenue for introducing people to the best in local music from Oklahoma and Arkansas, and wherever they go next. We think it’ll be as much fun for Hideaway employees as it will be for their customers; that’s our goal.”
