Former Equinox Vice President Joins Boston-Based Fast-Casual Restaurant
Boston, MA. (October 13, 2016) — Oath Craft Pizza, a fast casual restaurant operator, today announced that Patrik Hellstrand has joined the team as President and Chief Executive Officer. With deep roots in hospitality, Hellstrand has been influential in helping his teams mature beyond traditional business silos and aims to apply his expertise to the continued growth of Oath Craft Pizza.
“It has been an incredible year for Oath. We’ve been able to create a brand that stands for something in the fast-casual industry and continues to transform how consumers think of craft pizza,” said COO Rick Wolf. “We are thrilled to have Patrik join the team – his arrival will surely support these initiatives and bring infinite value to the brand.”
Hellstrand most recently served as Corporate Group Vice President at Equinox where he led strategic acquisition integrations, partnership deals, and member experience projects. Having held executive roles with cruise, hotel, consulting, and fitness brands, Hellstrand brings to Oath Craft Pizza an immense amount of expertise in customer experience optimization as well as the unique ability to innovate at the intersection of strategy, customer experience and technology for the brand.
“I am very humbled and grateful to have been selected to lead and collaborate with an already proven and successful team,” said Hellstrand. “I was attracted to Oath by the passion I experienced meeting the team and visiting stores as a guest. I am excited for us to build an honest and respected people-centric brand together.”
Having opened the doors to its first storefront in 2015, Oath already has 4 Boston area locations with expansion to new markets planned. Executive Chairman, John Burns said, “We have exceeded our early expectations under Rick Wolf’s leadership. As we prepare for rapid expansion into multiple metro areas including New York, it was imperative to invest in top-caliber, industry expertise. The addition of Patrik is another important step in Oath’s efforts to transform fast casual.”
