One pizzeria aims for Halloween horror; others get festive (With VIDEOS)

Sure you could create a traditional Halloween promo commercial — not this Norwegian pizzeria that applied a ghoulish cinematic approach to its Halloween commercial. Its gory approach may just help viewers lose their appetites.

Halloween is a big night for pizza sales. From themed pizzas and promotions to parties and catering, pizzerias mark the holiday in unique ways.

Papa Murphy’s has brought back its Jack-o-Lantern Pizza for a limited time only. Check out this clever ad directed at parents to “never trick-or-treat on an empty stomach:”

The Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria in Buffalo, New York, has planned ahead by offering preorders for parties and special events during the week of Halloween. The pizzeria’s staff dress in costumes and hand out candy on October 31.

Regina Pizzeria in Allston, Massachusetts is throwing a Halloween pizza party with $1 slices, half-priced apps, a costume contest and local bands performing. Frankie’s Scaloppine & 5th Floor Pizzeria is also hosting a Halloween bash featuring an Elvis tribute performer.
