One Northern Michigan pizzeria operator has come up with an innovative way to deliver pizza to customers on Long Lake, according to Eater.com. With traffic jams of boats docking in front of Nick Ferrugia’s Long Lake Grocery to pick up pizza orders, he sought another solution to satisfy his lake community and enlisted a friend to engineer a specialized pizza carrier to be mounted on his jet ski.
The jet ski carrier holds six extra-large pizzas and Ferrugia charges a $3 delivery fee. There is one catch — he has to get off of the jet ski to remove the pizza from its carrier.
