We’re nearing one of the most interactive events of the year, SxSWi, and while techies, marketers and app developers big and small are flocking to Austin, Pizza Hut has released this video of its newest ordering concept: http://youtu.be/xvT0MCugb58. This interactive table allows consumers to order pizza in-store by building their pie from the crust to the toppings right from their tabletop.
Developed by Pizza Hut and digital partner Chaotic Moon, the interactive table redefines the in-store ordering experience by adding a fun element of collaboration for groups – everyone at the table can explore the menu and contribute to the order from wherever they’re sitting. Step-by-step visuals guide the selection process, making the ordering process both efficient and extremely personalized. It also enables table side payment and cool gaming Apps while you wait. You can think of this as the “concept car” of pizza ordering.
As America’s largest pizza company, Pizza Hut is proud to be a pioneer in the digital ordering experience. From being the first to roll out online ordering on PizzaNet.net in 1994, to developing apps for Android, iPhone, iPad and Xbox 360, the brand is at the forefront of technological breakthroughs.
