Pizza Hut, which tops Pizza Today‘s Top 100 Pizza Companies annual list, is testing a lighter pizza in shops in two markets. The quiet roll out began this week and allows customers in Toledo, Ohio, to create a lighter pizza using a thinner version of the company’s signature dough with up to five toppings. Each slice should cap at 300 calories. In West Palm Beach, Florida, the company has a set menu of “Skinny Slice” pizzas, according to the AP. Each slice weighs in under 250 calories.
It’s not the first time Pizza Hut has menued lighter fare. Its Fit n’ Delicious offerings are still available by request.
