Pizza My Heart delivery driver fulfills special request

By Denise Greer

KTVU –

Pizza My Heart in Palo Alto, California, is used to fulfilling unusual requests, as long as they are reasonable. Customers often use the “Special Instructions” area in the pizza company’s online ordering system to make unique requests, like drawing a dinosaur eating a baby seal on a pizza box or make a special PII Day pizza.

After her no-show birthday party, one woman’s special instruction, “Send your cutest delivery driver and tell me I’m pretty,” has gone viral. The delivery drive not only fulfilled her request but went above and beyond for the birthday lady with a hug and a little bit of his time. The driver posted a portion of the receipt on social media, receiving millions of hits.

How do you make your customers feel special?
