Frank Pinello and Anthony Falco to headline Pizza & Pasta Northeast 2018
Pizza Today Editor-in-Chief Jeremy White announced on Twitter recently that Frank Pinello and Anthony Falco will deliver the keynote addresses at the upcoming Pizza & Pasta Northeast 2018 show in Atlantic City.
“I’m very excited about this news,” says White. “Frank and Anthony are great pizza artisans and big personalities who embody the spirit, enthusiasm and dedication we’re seeing in the next wave of great American pizza makers. These two are not to be missed!”
Pinello opened Best Pizza in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in 2010. Not long after, his shop was of national prominence thanks to his wood-burning-oven-baked slices inspired by Pinello’s Sicilian heritage and understanding of New York pizza tradition.
Pinello’s keynote address will kickstart Pizza & Pasta Northeast at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3.
Falco, the former “pizza czar” at Roberta’s in Brooklyn and now a world-traveling “International Pizza Consultant,” says he first learned pizza making from his Sicilian grandmother. He has consulted with pizzerias in Sao Paulo, Bogota, Panama, Toronto, London, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Charleston, Iowa and Madrid.
Falco’s day two keynote address is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 4.
