Ouch — A disgruntled customer spay paints “Worst Service Ever” on the front and back façade of New Park Pizzeria in Queens, New York. The pizzeria captured a grainy image of the culprit defacing the restaurant around 4 a.m. on December 6 , but the video did not provide a clear image of the offender.
The graffiti has been scrubbed off the pizzeria. To the presumed dismay of the culprit, the graffiti has generated viral attention and could result in increased business for New Park Pizzeria. For more on this story, click here.
New Park has received high marks on review sites like Yelp, which has rated the pizzeria with four-and-a-half stars from 193 reviews. No customer service failure warrants destruction of property. To what lengths has a disgruntled customer gone in your shop and how did you handle it?
