Empire Bakery Equipment is proud to welcome Jim Markee, a thirty-five year Foodservice Industry veteran, to the team!
Jim Markee has joined Empire Bakery Equipment, Hicksville, New York, as Foodservice Bakery Director. In this capacity, Mr. Markee will direct the Foodservice Bakery Group and be the principle liaison between Empire and its growing network of foodservice manufacturer representatives, chain operators, consultants, dealers and end-users across business, restaurant, hotel, institutional, healthcare, school, college, and QSR foodservice channels.
Mr. Markee has enjoyed a long tenure in the foodservice industry in various sales management positions with Elkay Corporation, Doyon Bakery Equipment, TurboChef Technologies. and Duke Manufacturing. Mr. Markee’s background further includes food and beverage operations management positions with Stouffer Hotels and Bloomingdale’s, as well as with international foodservice consultant Cini-Little International, Washington, DC as a senior design associate.
Stephan Wechsler, President, Empire Bakery Equipment, in making the announcement, said that “We have been in discussion with Jim for some time now about helping us expand and grow into Foodservice. We are excited that Jim has decided to join our organization and help us chart our course in Foodservice Bakery.
