Jet’s debuts heart-shaped pizza

By Pizza Today

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Feb. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — For the first time ever, Michigan-based Jet’s Pizza will offer heart-shaped pizzas February 9-15 as a Valentine’s Day promotion. The 8-slice pizza is made with hand-tossed round dough and will be available at participating Jet’s locations nationwide. The cost for a premium mozzarella cheese and one topping heart-shaped pizza will be $6.99 in Michigan. Prices in other markets will vary. “We are very excited about this promotion, which grew out of customer demand. Over the years, we’ve had several requests for heart-shaped pizza,” said John Jetts, vice president of marketing. The company had a special die cut made for each of its more than 300 locations. Jet’s pizza dough and sauce are prepared fresh daily at each store. As with Jet’s other pizzas, customers may “flavorize” their heart-shaped crust for free from a choice of eight flavors–butter, poppy seed, parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano, sesame seed or Jet’s Turbo Crust. To order online or find a Jet’s Pizza near you, visit www.jetspizza.com. Available for carry out or delivery. Jet’s signature deep dish style pizza is not available for this special limited offer. Jet’s Pizza, based in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is one of the most rapidly expanding pizza franchises in the country. Since its founding in 1978, Jet’s has grown to more than 300 stores in 16 states.
