Craft Your Own Pizza Concept Donates more than $10,000 to Local Charities
LOS ANGELES (April 29, 2015) – California’s award winning fast-casual pizza concept, PizzaRev, expands the better pizza revolution with the opening of two new corporate-owned locations this month in Santa Barbara, CA and Palmdale, CA. PizzaRev opened eight new restaurants since January 2015, including both corporate and franchise locations, bringing the company to 27 open units.
The new Santa Barbara restaurant, located at 12 W. De La Guerra St.(at the Paseo Nuevo Shopping Mall) hosted a Grand Opening fundraiser to benefit Dream Foundation, the only national dream-granting organization for adults and their families facing life-threatening illness. The Palmdale restaurant, located at 748 W. Ranch Vista Blvd.(at the Shops at Rancho Vista Gateway) opened its doors with a fundraiser for Gabriel’s House – a music and performing arts program provided by the City of Palmdale which offers local children the opportunity to develop their creative talents, free of charge. 100 percent of pizza proceeds from both events, totaling more than $10,000, were donated to the local organizations.
“We are passionate supporters of the organizations that positively impact the communities we serve, and we admire the work of Dream Foundation and Gabriel’s House,” said PizzaRev co-founder and COO, Nicholas Eckerman. “As we expand our brand footprint across California and the throughout country, we continue to seek out charitable partners who are making remarkable differences in the lives of their constituents.”
PizzaRev features a distinctive “Craft Your Own” pizza assembly process and its Roman-style thin and crispy pizza that has won a loyal following in Southern California. It starts with the crust selection, either original or gluten-free, each one pressed into a thin canvas from a homemade dough ball. Guests then choose from four signature sauces, including a savory organic red sauce, a creamy alfredo, and a spicy-sweet BBQ. Finally, each personally-sized masterpiece is completed with favorite selections from an array of all-natural cheeses and 30+ fresh artisanal ingredients, ranging from traditional favorites like pepperoni and ground beef to premium selections including sweet fennel sausage and fresh-picked basil and arugula. Each pizza, no matter how many ingredients are selected, is one price.
Most unique to PizzaRev, and what enables the restaurant’s unprecedented speed of service, is the custom-built, 900-degree stone hearth oven. Guests watch the dancing flames in the background as their pizzas are fired to a perfect, Roman-style crispiness in less than three minutes. With literally hundreds of millions of combinations to create, PizzaRev keeps guests coming back eager to try the latest creation they crave.
PizzaRev is a “build-your-own” fast-casual pizza concept that has reinvented the way America eats its favorite food. Guests are empowered to fully customize a personal-sized 11″ pizza for one price. Homemade dough options, flavorful sauces, all-natural cheeses, and more than 30+ artisanal toppings, everything is on display at PizzaRev and assembled right before your eyes.
