Young & Reckless clothing to unveil pizza-themed merchandise, every purchase includes Free Pizza
LOS ANGELES (July 28, 2015) – PizzaRev has teamed up with street-wear brand, Young & Reckless (Y&R), for the first ever ‘Reckless Takeover’ event. Guests are invited to PizzaRev – Koreatown (at 3150 Wilshire Blvd.) on Saturday, August 1 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. for a chance to purchase pizza-themed merchandise, including a special-edition t-shirt designed specifically for the ‘Reckless Takeover.’ Anyone who purchases Y&R merchandise will receive one Free Pizza.
The event is hosted by pizza-loving model, Naressa Veldez, and Young & Reckless founder and MTV reality show personality, Chris “Drama” Pfaff, will also be in attendance. PizzaRev will feature Drama’s favorite custom pizza and a photo-booth for attendees to celebrate a night dedicated to pizza, fashion and fun.
“We enjoy working with brands and people that share our commitment to challenging the status quo, and Young and Reckless is the definition of revolutionary,” said Nicholas Eckerman, co-founder and COO of PizzaRev. “There is great synergy between Y&R and PizzaRev because both brands appeal to a younger generation that demands quality food and fashion, at a great value. We’re looking forward to a great turnout at the Reckless Takeover.”
Y&R is a street-wear inspired lifestyle brand that has seamlessly woven the simplicity of casual apparel with the intricacy of design. Within one year of its launch, Y&R was selling in more than 3,000 stores nationwide, with celebrity fans including Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Zac Effron, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, among others.
“I’m a huge fan of PizzaRev. And I also like to sell t-shirts, because the more t-shirts I sell the more pizzas I can eat,” said Drama. “This is a dream scenario.”
PizzaRev is a “build-your-own” fast-casual pizza concept that has reinvented the way America eats its favorite food. Guests are empowered to fully customize a personal-sized 11″ pizza for one price. Homemade dough options, flavorful sauces, all-natural cheeses, and more than 30+ artisanal toppings, everything is on display at PizzaRev and assembled right before your eyes. The pizzas are then fired in a 900-degree, stone-hearth oven which produces a thin and crispy Roman-style pizza in just three minutes. Los Angeles-based PizzaRev was founded in 2012; the executive team possesses a combination of Fortune 500 operating experience and high-profile restaurant management.
PizzaRev is currently franchising and announced a strategic partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings in 2013. The company currently has 17 corporate restaurants and 10 franchise locations in operation, with additional franchises under development across Washington, D.C. and 12 states: CA, CO, MA, MN, MO, ND, NV, NY, OH, SD, TX and UT.
