- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 4 squares (4 ounces) unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup broken walnuts
- Combine butter and chocolate in saucepan.
- Melt over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in sugar, and then beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Stir in flour, then the nuts.
- Pour into a well-greased 9 by 12-inch pan.
- Bake in pre-heated 375 F oven 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool and cut into squares.
