Fruit and Wine Sponge Cake

- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 pints fresh strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
- 1 sponge cake, cut into
- 8 equal slices
- Combine the wine and sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Add the fruit and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Place sponge cake into a chilled bowl, then spoon fruit and wine mixture over sponge cake.
