A go-to spot for adventurous foodies and pizza aficionados, OTTO has quickly grown to 12 locations since opening its first Portland slice shop in 2009. OTTO strives for the highest quality, local (when possible) ingredients and a creative menu. The Masher is a creative pizza featuring mashed potato, scallion and bacon. The Sriracha Chicken & Avocado and the Pulled Pork & Mango pies also offer meat-eaters a little something different. The Butternut Squash, Ricotta & Cranberry and the Spinach, White Bean & Roasted Garlic pies are among the nearly dozen veggie pizza offerings.

The original Leonardo’s opened in Burlington, Vermont in 1990. Now in its second generation, Leonardo’s has garnered a strong following for its gourmet pizza in Portland with its third location. Its mission is “delighting and sustaining our community, one slice at a time.” The pizzeria bottles and distributes nationally its famous pizza sauces in four flavors — original, garlic, Asiago and chipotle. Customers have an option of an organic whole wheat or white crust. The pizza menu offers traditional favorites and some surprises like the Fennel Sausage Gourmet with an olive oil garlic sauce, cheddar/mozzarella blend, hot Italian sausage, fennel, red onion, spinach and gorgonzola. The pizzeria also offers roasted chicken wings and Panko-crusted boneless tenders.

Fresh is top priority at Sianos, including making every dish to order and preparing its dough, sauces, dressing and other ingredients in house daily. Its pizza menu is comprised of more than a dozen pies like the Crazy Mary with honey Dijon, grilled chicken, caramelized onion and diced hot cherry peppers. Baxter’s Woods features a red sauce, fried eggplant, oven roasted tomatoes, Kalamata olives and feta. In addition to pizza, Sianos offers a full line of classic Italian dishes.
