World’s largest pizza show just got bigger

pizza expo crowdThe 2014 International Pizza Expo exhibit floor is sold out with 1,047 pizza-related supplies, equipment and service booths — the most exhibit space in the history of Pizza Expo. The show floor is larger than five-and-a-half football fields.

International Pizza Expo will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 24-27, 2014. Show management is working to add more booths. For more details on acquiring a booth, contact Bobbie MacIntosh.

International Pizza Expo continues to be the largest pizza show in the world, with more than 1,000 booths, 80 business-boosting seminars and demonstrations, and the home of the International Pizza Challenge and the World Pizza Games. Next year, International Pizza Expo will celebrate its 30th birthday with plenty of fanfare.

International Pizza Expo has brought in big names in the restaurant industry to deliver its keynote addresses.

Donatella Arpaia, best known as a judge on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef” programs and as a New York restaurateur who now owns a pizzeria with kick the show off with her keynote address.

The second keynote session features the Pizza Cuz, Sal Basile and Francis Garcia. Owners of five Artichoke Pizzerias in New York City, these cousins were selected by the Cooking Channel to travel the U.S. in search of the best and most unusual pizzas. Their adventures began airing in May 2013.

Education programming will cover hot button topics, such as trends in menu design, employee motivation and health care, just to name a few.
