Hobart to Give Away Custom-Painted Mixer at the International Pizza Expo, Host Online Food Processor Giveaway


TROY, Ohio (January 30, 2018) — Hobart, the premium commercial food equipment manufacturer known for designing and building some of the most reliable, must-have equipment, announced it will again give away a custom-painted Legacy® HL662 Pizza Mixer while attending the 2018 International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas on March 19 to 22, 2018.

As with past giveaways, this year’s mixer will feature a one-of-a-kind design that Hobart will unveil on the first day of the expo. This year’s design will celebrate the craft beer and food movement. The mixer has an estimated retail value of $20,000.

To enter, attendees at the 2018 International Pizza Expo must complete a sweepstakes entry card and submit it at the Hobart booth (662). The cards can be found in the gift bags received upon entering the show or at the Hobart booth beginning at 10:00 a.m. PST on March 20. Attendees may only enter the giveaway once; duplicate entries will be discarded. All completed cards must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. PST March 21 to be eligible for the giveaway. The drawing will be held at the ICC Main Stage at 12:30 p.m. PST on March 22. A winner will be randomly selected from the entries, and the winner must be present to win.

The Legacy HL662 is a durable 60-quart mixer featuring a 2.7 horsepower motor and heavy-duty variable frequency drive that ensures consistent performance with minimal downtime under heavy loads. Two fixed speeds support thorough kneading, while Shift-on-the-Fly™ technology controls allow the operator to change speeds while the mixer is running. The Hobart-patented Soft Start Agitation Technology helps operators maintain a sanitary work environment — each speed has a soft transition into higher speed to reduce the opportunity for product splash-out.

Hobart will kick off a separate online sweepstakes at 8:00 a.m. CDT on March 20 that complements the mixer giveaway. They will give away a custom-painted FP150 continuous-feed full hopper food processor, bearing the same craft beer and food movement design. Those interested can complete an entry form at horbartcorp.com/enter. Online entries must be received by 5 p.m. CDT on April 13 to be entered in the drawing. Participants must also be employed in the food service industry to be eligible to win.
