Baked Goat Cheese

  • 6 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1 cup marinara
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Fresh basil leaves, chiffonade for garnish
  1. Place cheese into bottom of a 6-inch ramekin or pie plate, leaving a 1-inch border.
  2. Ladle marinara around the goat cheese.
  3. Sprinkle salt, red pepper flakes and oregano.
  4. Bake at 425 F until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Served with sliced crostini.
